and on top of that my interests in what to write are likely to be widely regarded as "cringe as fuck". I'm not capable of the depths of horror that the writers I look up to are, and half the time those stories they write just upset me. Also I literally am making Simpsons erotica, like, wtf.

I get that the doing of it is how one gets better; but I can only make the writing as good as I know how to make it. I don't know the difference between when I'm doing things well and when I'm doing things badly. More won't be better, just more.
