For the #BlueSkyArtShow , #Arch. The restored 12th century, cross-vaulted, five-nave crypt in the Cathedral of Saint Peter and Saint Paul in Pécs, Hungary. It houses a Pipe Organ with over 6000 pipes. I was lucky enough to hear Bach's Toccata and Fugue in d minor while there.

Going through my photos for the #BlueSkyArtShow I came across this image from 2014. I was filled with longing to make #thejourney back to when my country wasn't being dissolved by mindless narcissists.

It serves as reminder to #resist, use my voice, and encourage others to do the same.

Today my daughter's sitter came home from college and is showing the song she played in the hospital that caused my daughter to awaken from her coma. Her favorite, Let it Go, from Frozen. Yes that really happened. After nearly 8 months she is fully recovered. Happy Mardi Gras Y'all 💚💛💜.

As soon as she played the song my daughter who was unresponsive before began to try and sing along despite being intubated at the time. She then opened her eyes a minute later. After a month in ICU, nearly losing her 3 times, a month in rehab and finally months of in home providers.... We were both exhausted, her from healing/ me from the sheer amount of care. Bluesky was my one outlet. Folks were so kind towards to each other. It was my daily hit of dopamine.

My youngest, who was born with physical/intellectual disabilities,with just some of the Mardi Gras swag from a parade here in NOLA, Saturday. It makes me cry because last August she had a massive brain bleed. During her 5 month recovery I joined BlueSky as a creative outlet.

During BLM my 87 mom was trying to understand. FYI she has 5 Black grandkids. She read White Fragility and she struggled at times to see the baked into our culture racism and how she benefited. Love was her motivation when she was challenged. Pic from BLM rally in Annapolis. Her sign says it all.

In the very center of the flower are both the male and female reproductive parts; the ovary, style, stigma and anther. These stand up proud above the rest of the flower and are surrounded by wiry glossy hair-like structures called the corona. Passion vine's botanical name is Passiflora Edulis.
