I’ve only discovered Patchett’s work now and I’m hooked.

What an amazing, brilliant and devastating book. I’m always surprised at my self for forgetting how much Barnes’ writing resonate with me and leaves such an impact. I just need to read more of his books!

For example, here we can see how to use @etorressimon.bsky.social 's video clip on Translating from Korean into Spanish and Catalan via English to discuss the potential challenges and opportunities when translating directly vs. indirectly.

From sharing my research on overcoming language barriers in healthcare settings with MA and PhD students to facilitating a reading group on my paper exploring the reception of medical translations among healthcare professionals, all discussions were equally special.

As I'm packing to return to Leiden, I'm thinking of these enriching weeks at @Warwick_Transla @IASWarwick. It was an intense & rewarding experience filled with stimulating discussions, collaborative research, and valuable training.
