This thing where each issue has interludes drawn by guest artists, so that Evan Cagle has time to cook, could have made the series feel very disjointed. But the guests are such good choices and they're all swinging so damn hard on it instead makes every issue feel like double the treat.

Dammit, I thought Flash might be the one Absolute book that didn't grab me but now I have been enchanted by Adriano Lucas' colors and the way A.L. Kaplan draws Wally's eyelashes.
