This dog. 🥰 We don't deserve her - I don't know how we got so lucky to have her come live with us

Last night I dreamt I was driving & a guy threw 4 ferrets in my car & told me, "you have to get them to the diner, and don't be late", and walked away. I yelled out, "which diner, this is Long Island?!", and he just laughed.

The ferrets are running around my car, shitting everywhere.

A windy rainy day is a good day to make cinnamon rolls (not frosted yet, but that will happen soon)

Great recipe at Sally's Baking Addiction website sallysbakingaddiction.com/easy-cinnamo...

Watching this ACIP meeting makes me really glad I got my flu and covid-19 vaccines earlier this week.

When we first bought our house, I went into a shop in our town and they sold Lampe Berger, but it was out of our budget at the time.

Years later I found two at goodwill and still use them frequently.

I always get a bit of a, "I've made it" feeling when I use them #adulting

"Violent men who are also smart and strong are not completely lost causes, they can learn different ways if they choose. It's the weak ones who cause the most damage. Nothing wreaks havoc like a weak man, because they never learn." - Kate Quinn, The Briar Club

I am loving this book

Finally made it to Scotland with the family 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Everything was great. Spent some time in Edinburgh and Glasgow with some great tours to St Andrews, Stirling, Loch Lomond, Luss, Anstruther, and a trip to Kilmarnock to see the house my great grandparents lived in before they left for the states 💙

I saved all these old cell phones for some brilliant reason or another. But today, I reclaim a shelf in my house!

Went to the #NoKings march in Mineola LI with some great friends. There's not much that will make me leave the house and go stand in the rain for a couple hours, but our democracy is worth it

I am absolutely sickened by they way these people are being treated and I am embarrassed by the way this is being handled. It is a disgrace and we are a disgraceful nation for allowing this to continue.

"Mother of exiles" no longer 😢

Welp, we had a rabbit nest in the yard, with four (at least) babies. Note the past tense. Speaking of tense, now I'm sleeping in the living room & trying to convince this dog that she can't go get her new friends/snacks right now. It's gonna be a long night. Dogs 🙄

Clears throat, steps on old lady soapbox

I am weary of seeing the misuse of weary vs. wary by people who should know better
