There are many times in D&D where I just decide the best move to keep my character alive isn't to heal, but is to take out the guy who just dealt damage to me. I take care of myself by dealing with the threat.

Happy Boxing Eve.

That reddit user has exactly one good opinion.

In both cases, the stocking is currently hanging from the fireplace and the blorbo is unable to get down.

Nah, they bring them back all the time, thanks to the multiverse.

Ironically, her mother blaming her for christmas going wrong ticked off a bingo square.

Holy crap, he did. This was coming "soon" 1 year ago, so I'm looking forward to watching that. Thanks for letting me know.

I believe it.

Hey, Shen's brain? I have told her time and time again that she brings me joy as both a creator and a personality, and I don't appreciate you telling her I'm a liar. I don't deserve it, and neither does she.

Translation: "I am not a virtuous person, so I cannot conceive of any reason why someone would do or say virtuous things beyond wanting to trick people into thinking they're virtuous."

We know you don't want AI in the finished game. We just don't want it in the unfinished game either.

Me punching AI defenders in the face is the future, and they have to accept it.

Dragon Age 2, Vixen Hawke, and that single moment will stay dear to my heart for as long as it beats.
December 10, 2025 at 3:16 PM
And after all that time, with a completionist playthrough where Hawke did everything right, sacrificing everything to save her sister, her grand reward at the end of a long night was... Survival.

The Templars let her leave. That was it.

Due to a scratched game disk, DA2 was my first Dragon Age game. And due to another scratched game disk, I couldn't beat act 3 without skipping companion quests, which I wasn't willing to do. So I started over on steam, and after perhaps a year, I was finally able to beat DA2.

Me: "Wow it's impossible for me to like this AI technology any less."
Google: "Are you sure?"

The Seeker of Truth and the Witch of the Wilds are different enough to be a comedy road trip pairing.

That must be jam, because jelly don't jingle like that!

I once described a one page RPG to a guy. He said he wouldn't be able to learn a whole system. I had already explained all the rules to him.

Also worth noting that people who use AI are gullible twits.

My personal theory is that Andraste gained the old god soul through the death of Halliserre. As an extension, Hessarian got the soul when he stabbed Andraste, and that's why he wrote the Canticle of Silence despite living 200 years too late to be a first hand source.
December 4, 2025 at 5:58 PM
Halliserre's mother was an Arcanist who spoke of the old gods. We know of another Arcanist who spoke of the old gods, and who conceived an OBG around when a blight ended. And the child is deeply changed by being an OGB, just like how Andraste was wildly different when Halliserre died.
