This holiday season is the first without my Maddie (Tabby). She passed away in July from bladder cancer that seemed like it came on fast. 😢😢
My other cat, Smitty, and I have clung to each other ever since, afraid of losing one another.
This year has been shit. 😣

Having studied art history, Artemesia’s story has always captivated me. Her strength as she testified against her rapist Agostino Tassi, & won (though he was later freed) then went on to be hailed as one of the most significant artists gave fellow female artists courage to pursue their craft.

Blech. All week, my throat has been scratchy, not sore or painful just scratchy. In addition, my left ear is doing the air pressure crud, which rarely happens. Not even my Neti pot is helping. Today I was texting w/ a friend who asked, “Have you tried Sudafed?” Silly me, never thought of that. 🤦🏻♀️
