Instead it was awarded to a big Trump supporter. Machado supports Trump blowing the Venezuelan boats and welcomes a US invasion of Venezuela to overthrow Maduro. Wild choice to give the peace prize to someone advocating for a regime change war.

Yeah I’m not going to believe it until feeds start and the 24hr rewind is still there

If you don’t think that black dem primary voters being more centrist on average is at all a factor, then I think we’re just going to have to agree to disagree.
June 17, 2025 at 9:17 PM
Definitely agree about centrist white voters leaning toward white supremacy. It just bothers me how rarely it’s acknowledged that leftists not doing as well with black voters is at least partially due to natural ideological differences because of republican racism driving moderates to the dems
June 17, 2025 at 8:51 PM
Right so if the percentages are in line with any other group, but 85% of black voters nationally vote democrat, then a larger share of black voters who vote dem will be from the center/center right than other groups. So black voters that vote in dem primaries would skew centrist over other groups
June 17, 2025 at 8:36 PM
I meant more dsa style policies than the organization specifically. But do you think there is any truth to my point about ideological moderates and conservatives making up a large chunk of black voters in dem primaries?

Fair enough. I just wanted to say that I think you are conflating your beliefs with black voters in general. And Bernie is not as toxic to black voters outside the circles you run in as you seem to think. But we can leave it at that if you want.
June 17, 2025 at 7:46 PM
I don’t think the data supports that claim. This is from a survey from earlier this year. www.gelliottmorris.com/p/who-is-the...
June 17, 2025 at 7:17 PM
I think you might be in an anti Bernie bubble. Bernie is consistently polled as one of the most popular politicians in America and he is especially popular with the dem voters that make up this electorate. This endorsement is a positive for Zohran.

Gore absolutely would’ve invaded Afghanistan after 9/11

Do you have any news sources that solely credit Biden and refute Trump having any role?
January 15, 2025 at 7:15 PM
Just try to read the news about this with an open mind. Again, I despise Trump. This is the first positive thing I’ve ever said about him. I’m more of the opinion that Biden was never interested in applying any pressure, rather than Trump pulled off some amazing diplomatic move.
January 15, 2025 at 7:11 PM
Trumps officials not being involved is just flat out false. Anthony Blinken himself said that Trump people like Steve Witkoff are involved in discussions. www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_ent...
Blinken: Important to have Trump people involved in hostage talks because they’ll have to enforce deal

Is that the right link? That article is from November 26th. According to reporting, this deal came together after pressure from Trump over the last week or two
January 15, 2025 at 6:47 PM
Trump actually pressured the Israelis to finally accept the ceasefire deal. Something that Biden was never willing to do. Trumps negotiator Steve Witkoff (who the Biden team was working with) was the one to make it clear to Bibi that he had to take the deal. www.haaretz.com/israel-news/...
January 15, 2025 at 6:42 PM
Doha along with Israeli politicians and media are all crediting (and discrediting) Trump for this deal getting pushed through. I despise the man, but it’s clear Trump played a role in ending this where Biden failed to do so for the last 15 months
January 15, 2025 at 5:44 PM
Democrats messed up so bad by leaving this potential win on the table for Trump. All because some kids on TikTok had wrongthink about Gaza.

I think it was to get a read from the other players about whether or not she needed to use the idol
December 14, 2024 at 5:19 PM
The right says that anyway even though Biden has given Israel everything it wants. We can’t let fear of republican messaging stop us from doing the right thing.

And if the war was ended like 6 months ago it would’ve been much harder for Israel to start up the bombing again after Trump is sworn in.
December 3, 2024 at 9:03 PM
Trump would not have the opportunity to let Israel “finish the job” if Biden was willing to withhold arms to pressure Israel to end the genocide. So all of the killing going forward will be at least partially on Biden.
December 3, 2024 at 8:36 PM
Yeah actually the non-nazis who helped Hitler get to power (like Paul von Hindenburg and others in the centre coalition) do deserve at least part of the blame. That also includes western liberal media who normalized the nazis and wrote things like “Hitler doesn’t really mean what he says”
December 3, 2024 at 8:34 PM
Tbf the Biden people have been consistently lying about Gaza for over a year. Right after 10/7 Biden said he saw pictures of beheaded babies and the White House had to walk back that lie.
December 3, 2024 at 7:35 PM
If Joe Biden was willing to use any leverage at any point then the door to Gaza wouldn’t have been left open for Trump. Every bad thing that Trump does in Gaza going forward will also be on Biden. His legacy will be genocide.
