Elsewhere, the SNP have taken a 17 point lead in Holyrood voting intention. Additionally, they lead in Westminster voting intention with +16 over Reform and Labour.

Diving into immigration, our polling over the summer found:

- Almost half of the public are broadly opposed to immigration
- 74% of Reform would-be voters were opposed, whilst 50% of those intending to vote Labour were in favour

- Reform are the most trusted party on immigration and even on the cost of living
- Labour come out as most trusted on the NHS

In the workplace, our research with the TUC
explored public attitudes to AI and work, finding:

- 51% of UK adults worry about AI's impact on their job
- 62% of 25-24 year-olds are concerned about the impact it will have

Despite divisions, the segments were united by their care for the NHS and cost of living.

Views on Labour’s direction:

➡️Only 25% of members say the party is heading in the right direction.
➡️67% believe it’s on the wrong track.

Phillipson is the candidate of ‘right direction’ members. Powell dominates among the majority who think the party is going the wrong way.

- Just 26% of Labour members hold a favourable opinion of Starmer as Labour Leader
- 59% view him unfavourably, with 15% neither favourable nor unfavourable

Members unhappy with Starmer overwhelmingly back Powell, while Phillipson relies on those with a favourable view

As Reform continues to hold the top spot, the two traditional parties are losing their 2024 voters.

- A third of Labour voters are looking elsewhere, with almost a fifth now backing Reform
- 3 in 10 Conservative voters no longer plan to vote for the party, with a quarter looking towards Reform
