Thanks for your reply. I have total vision loss in one eye due to NAAION and am vulnerable to post operative vision loss. But hopefully my neuro opth will talk to my ent and make a decision with reasonable precautions in place!

Thanks for asking. It revealed residual fluid from the earlier ear infection but no acoustic neuroma. On to exploring a cochlear implant which is a great hearing solution but a risk of further vision loss! 🤪
