7:30 pm I just got back from a drive around the courthouse downtown. There were no demonstrators but easily 150 metro stationed around the area. Not a welcoming free speech zone.

I will admit I haven't read the book yet. "Abundance" has struck me as a repackage of "Supply Side Economics" from the 80s. I have seen Klein on umpteen interview shows, including Stewart's. Abundance reminds me of the 90s when Democrats declared defeat and moved to the right.

It's just something I read. China graduates more mechanical engineers in a year than the US has bachelor degrees total. We have not been in a Sputnik moment but a 7th December moment all these years.
