Apparently, my father and his wife have become patrons of the arts. They renovated a storage space in their t-shirt shop into a 60 seat theatre with a large stage and lighting. First show was last night. They wanted to make an affordable space for local artists and groups. Good on them.

I feel like the worse, or best, April Fools joke would be him finally succumbing to a stroke or heart attack or some other cause on April 1st and no one would actually believe it until April 2nd.

One thing that frustrates me is that at his last breath he will believe with all his heart that he was the greatest person that ever lived. He won’t accept how reviled he was and that he was a laughing stock.
