You didn’t include the anesthesiologist standing up abruptly. Or beeps. If the beeps are unevenly spaced, suddenly stop or start going real fast, I know it’s getting real.

I’m guessing you’ve already read and reread the contract and policy to see if there’s a way around it, and I’m also guessing there isn’t. Have you run it up the chain with HR or admin?

It is true for residency and fellowship. My youngest had leukemia during my intern year and for the next 4 years I met the $13k out of pocket max. 20+% of my gross at the time. Without the generosity of others we would not have made it.

I always say thank you to the folks in the room. Can’t do it without anesthesiologist/CRNA, circulators, scrubs, anesthesia techs, and EVS.

That’s what my understanding has always been.
