Every few years, I update this spreadsheet. The average Disney live-action remake is 42% longer than the animated film it's based on.
A spreadsheet listing all of the Disney Live-Action remakes. There is a column for the movie title, the original movie's runtime in minutes, the remake's runtime in minutes, and the percent increase in runtime. The bottom row contains averages of each of the numerical columns. The average percent increase in runtime is 42.24%.
