such changes in a character need time, depth, and development all things vi didnt really get in season 2

hurts the one person she would compromise her morals for, Cait a member aristocracy who is forced to recon with her pre conceived notions through experiences, and more complex interesting characters and they just kinda ditch that all in season two which is what made it so disappointing for me

arcane season created such interesting complex characters, Vander a man who fought for freedom but was willing to set aside his morals for his family, Silco a man who will do anything to win freedom for his people even at the cost of those very people, Vi a young parallel to vander who inadvertently

i think it couldve been done but instead they decided to have cait just ask and vi say no well okay fine, and it just didnt work imo

i genuinely think it could’ve been pulled off by more development time by season 2 definitely didnt pull it off at all. If the story found a way to frame it the same way vanders complacency is framed, through the lens of selfish preservation of the ones they love even if it comprised their morals,
