It was cool! I had a good racket for a while where I could make self booting (ie, no mod chip needed) copies of DreamCast games as would trade them for tapes with a few guys. I always wonder what happened to some of those dudes from that era of the internet.

No, not really. I liked that stuff a lot, but due to trying to maximize our money spent, we mainly got compilation tapes, and there wasn’t that much NJPW heavies on there.

Everything was amazing from the presentation, psychology, ongoing psychology, amazing movesets, matches longer than a sitcom that seem to just fly by. I remember tape trading back in the day and taking days off work to watch new tapes with these.
