It’s okay. We’re bombarded with a lot of info so it’s easy to miss stuff! He also visited a family for Eid just in case you missed that one too :-)

Thank you @minibubbly.bsky.social for the book recommendation! I picked this up yesterday and started digging in. Never too old to learn more about a subject. Given the stakes right now, I wanted to better understand how economics work and the implications for us. 🇨🇦❤️💪🏻

Have a little visitor today, my part-time dog Maddie. Friends adopted her 3 years ago during a difficult time in my life. Videos they posted of her on SM were 1 of the few things that could make me smile. When they asked if anyone could puppy-sit, we were first in line. We’re now her 2nd family :-)

Had a rare Saturday afternoon off and wandered into my favourite used bookstore. I came across this book by Nancy Isenberg and decided
to pick it up. Just about to dive into. Has anyone read it? What did you think?

I heard about the blue skies over here. Happy to be here and grateful for the warm welcome. This already feels safer and more positive than where I was. Here’s a picture of my real life happy place, Lake Huron.
