I can stay silent no longer.

Super Zero, do you have a life beyond arguing with folks on BlueSky? I often admonish folks that when they are in a hole, they should stop digging. I so admonish you now. Isn’t there a better use of your time?

So our friend is not further confused, let me clarify. THEY means REPUBS, who — being in control of the House — are making impeachment impossible. That point was made by the original post to which I responded in what I thought was a clear manner.

Thanks for that. S/he had me wondering, at various point during that bizarre dialogue, whether I was being dense. I probably carried on that exchange much longer than I should have.

Understood. However, I hope that I have piqued your interest. Consider trying one — at a restaurant — if you are ever on this side of the pond over the holidays. Never say never. You may become a convert. 😊

This perfectly characterizes Leavitt. Interestingly, since she says that Trump was being honest, she is co-signing calling a woman a pig. That is revelatory.
November 24, 2025 at 5:49 PM
Well done. Get it? Pigs squeal. This is a keeper. Thanks.

That is the assessment of first term Repubs. We need second term Repubs to weigh in. Unfortunately, they are all sycophantic loyalists who fear losing their jobs if they were appointed or being primaried if they were elected. These disgusting folks are shameful unpatriotic invertebrates.

The downside, of course, is that you can’t make stuffing since you can’t stuff the turkey. You have to make dressing instead. I don’t mind that trade off.
November 24, 2025 at 5:26 PM
I would be remiss if I did not mention the time savings involved in frying a turkey. It only takes three minutes per pound + 5 minutes. Consequently, a 16 pound turkey, cooking in 300 degree canola or peanut oil, is done in roughly an hour. Compare that to the time that it takes to bake a turkey.
November 24, 2025 at 5:22 PM
You would have to fry one to understand. The taste is very unique since you inject the turkey with a marinade that flavors the meat and then you put a rub on it that flavors the skin, which gets very crisp. I attend a dinner where baked, smoked and fried turkeys are served. Variety is good.

Like you, I want conviction and removal; however, I don’t agree that impeachment alone does not serve an important purpose. Just establishing that a POTUS has transgressed is meaningful. The House must satisfy its Constitutional obligation regardless of what the Senate subsequently does.
November 24, 2025 at 4:39 PM
Ok. Good night.
November 24, 2025 at 6:49 AM
If it makes you feel better, I will tell you that you are not confused and that everything that you have said makes sense. Can we just leave it there?
November 24, 2025 at 6:41 AM
I am not about issuing guarantees, but I will note that Dems have a pretty good track record for impeaching Trump for his lawlessness. Because of Dems, Trump is a twice impeached POTUS. We would not have a Trump 2.0 if a few Senate Repubs had joined Dems to convict him.
November 24, 2025 at 6:32 AM
I think that at this point I am going to leave you mired in your confusion. I am out of here. Be well.
November 24, 2025 at 6:28 AM
I have no idea what you are not understanding.
November 24, 2025 at 6:25 AM
I said that impeachment will not be a problem when Dems get control of the House because they — unlike Repubs — will be willing to impeach. Repubs’ unwillingness to impeach is the problem that will be rectified when they no longer are in control of the House. No. I am not a bot.
November 24, 2025 at 6:24 AM
What did I say was not a problem?
November 24, 2025 at 6:19 AM
I thought that we were talking about impeachment, which is only going to happen if the party that is in control of the House is willing to impeach. What does that have to do with “unconditional faith in either party?”
November 24, 2025 at 6:18 AM
I am not sure that I understand. The House impeaches the POTUS. This Repub-controlled House, especially while Mike Johnson is the Speaker of the House, is not going to do that. Dems likely will impeach Trump again if they regain control of the House next November. Are we on the same page?
