I used to travel every month when I worked forensics. I flew SAA and BA. Their flights were awful. Never made me worry about their safety protocols enough to warrant telling people to not book a return flight in anticipation of an air disaster.

The flight was not cleared for landing at the destination airport and was redirected 300kms away. The pilot followed protocol and declared a fuel emergency to get priority landing. 300KMS away!!!
