I haven't been to a Dunkin' Donuts since they discontinued the ones with the handle on 'em. No... I have been there, once. When I asked about the donut with the handle, the clerk didn't know what I meant. I hadda look it up. The clerk prolly wasn't even born when the handles were discontinued

Ah, LiveJournal! I still check in there once in a while. It's still kinda fun in a somber sort of way, like wandering through a ghost town. It was more fun when it was alive. Even I, with my moronic rambling, managed to interact with a few semi-famous folks.

Fixed it! Now I need to think up a more clever domain name, like you have done, and change it again! 😂 Gonna go look for a list of currently available domain suffixes and then try to come up with something witty. 🙄

And then the lefties will drift back to X after they get bored because there's nobody to argue with. I've already read a number of concerned posts from "creators" worried that BlueSky offers no protection from AI. Realistically, isn't anything visible online available for AI training?

It was a long time ago and at least one of the Car Talk guys is dead now! Jeepers, but I'm getting old!

Yeah, Terry Gross was usually okay. But back in the day when Car Talk was at its peak I would sometimes find myself laughing so hard I could scarcely breathe. I made a point of finding the Dewey, Cheetham, and Howe office when I visited Boston.

I went through the process. Nothing is showing up yet. My web hosting site says it may take four to eight hours for the DNS record to propagate. I'll see if it has kicked in tomorrow.

Yeah, I agree, Insta is becoming progressively less useable. I'm not sure what their intention is at this point, but apparently it's not about posting and sharing and finding fun photos anymore.

The Haiku Stairs were technically "closed" when I climbed them, which was about a dozen years ago now. Then the state spent several million dollars "upgrading" the stairs for safety, but never reopened them. Hawaii used to be a lot of fun. Now it's all fenced off and there's a charge for everything.
