Hello poetry friends! I am finishing a book of poetry titled "Held in Tension." Here's a screenshot of page 37.

There are whole communities of animals that derive little to no energy from the sun, instead subsisting on chemosynthetic primary producers near hydrothermal vents. These giant tube worms are an example of chemoautotrophic animals with endosymbionts (bacteria live inside and produce energy)

Forcing disclosure is the least the Academy should do, they comment on it in the article here but I'm not convinced that is a relevant can of worms
The Academy could start forcing productions to disclose their use of AI, the way films currently have to meet diversity and inclusion standards to qualify for best picture — but there’s no telling what kind of can of worms that could open. After all, one of The Brutalist’s top best picture competitors, Emilia Perez, also used the very same Respeecher voice-altering software.

Many factors can affect secondary succession, such as trophic interaction, initial composition, and competition-colonization trade-offs.[1] The factors that control the increase in abundance of a species during succession may be determined mainly by seed production and dispersal, micro climate; landscape structure (habitat patch size and distance to outside seed sources);[1] bulk density, pH, and soil texture (sand and clay).[2] Secondary succession is the ecological succession that occurs after the initial succession has been disrupted and some plants and animals still exist. It is usually faster than primary succession as soil is already present, and seeds, roots, and the underground vegetative organs of plants may still survive in the soil.

You look at me and see a person: will, actions, leisure, but it is not me, my strings are being pulled, my mouth pried open and shut closed. I clap along to the beat and stomp my feet in rhythm. The crowd cheers for me demanding for more. They love the act, the character. All I long for is the storage closet. The dark, the quiet, the emptiness to match my head. One day I’ll be worn out and ragged, patched within an inch of my life, and the merciful puppeteer will let me rest there. Or better yet, cut me up and use me to patch another. B. I am a house pet, too aware of the glass walls, the fake sand, the Walmart heat lamp that sustains. I like to eat the wax worms I’m given, but I wish I could tear the walls down, restart.
