Louie CK had a bit once (not that bit!) where he talked about how important it was that murder was illegal, because otherwise we’d do it all the fucking time. As the saying goes; it’s funny because it’s true. Though ‘funny’ is a slippery proposition in this context.

I was worried Charlie would spoil his mums work and try and meddle with stuff. Turns out any of his attempted interventions before becoming King were more about getting a few digs in early, because he had no intention of doing any such thing as King. You know, probably.

…Too much power is a bad thing. Give that power to a single person and make it moral (“the people said they wanted me to have it”!) and it’s bad while no one realises, which is WAY worse.
