The longer this new administration continues the more sure I am that I should leave this place that used to be my country. Never really been anyplace else but Damn, if this isn't a Hellscape getting ready to pop up I just don't know. Am I being too alarmist?

Friends on FB constantly talking about how stupid and harmful the various things Trump and Musk are doing are. I probably shouldn't have but I pointed out in a comment that it doesn't make any sense until you realize POTUS and co. are trying to rapidly destroy the country.

There are a lot of things I would like to say on FB but I don't want to be harassed by Trump fans and now that Zuck has caved I don't feel that safe anymore there.
