As someone who keeps a close eye on the space because of my blog and past work experience, you need to be VERY CAUTIOUS of scams like these. I'm gonna write an article about this at some point, but these ads on Meta and other platforms should be banned/flagged for fraud.

In other, much nicer news, I got my first fan mail through my contact form on my blog 🥳🥳🥳 usually, everyone just emails me. It's nice to see that someone used the contact form. 🤗

Tell me that you have no moral compass without telling me that you have no moral compass. This is so cringe 🙄

I'm making halim today, at the request of my sister's friend, and lemme tell you: it's a shit show. I think it looks like it.

My sisters think it smells like daal, and the friend? She's visibly salivating because none of the south asian restaurants in Istanbul serve this.

Back in the 2010s, the US branch of the family used to call us up and ask if we're fine (thanks to terrorism and all).

And now in 2025, I've been talking to my cousins (2nd generation US citizens btw), if they're alright because of the state of the world. We're living in wild times people

MY FATHER IS GIVING ME DATING TIPS 😳😳😳

Sir, you have THREE daughters and FOUR sisters. You should not be telling me how you evaluated women in your day. What the hell is HAPPENING?

(my dad is low-key giving me good advice: never let yourself down, don't over compromise etc)

My mother has been bothering me to get w one of my hs seniors (he used to write me notes instead of asking me out like a normal person) because he's gotten back in touch w me recently

In other news, it was my sister's and brother-in-law's 5 year anniversary yesterday and they spent the day doing a financial audit of the company they own together (along w my other sister and I).

Why is this weirdly wholesome?? 🥹🥹🥹

I started my morning with an AI rant and a headache. I'm making pancakes now. This is so on brand, it's not even funny. My siblings are not home. My best friend's out. And this is what happens when I'm left alone w nothing to do. I hate Sundays.

In case anyone's wondering, I was severely screwed over by the crypto winter of 2022 (worked as a technical writer in the industry) and have been obsessed with bubbles since then. And this is giving more tulip bubble w social media at the wheels 🫠🫠

I'm saying this now (right as my boss tells me that we've won an award at work for the AI search tool the team and I worked on), AI is JUST the next iteration of Google search, G-suite and editing tools. That's it. It's making stuff quicker for us, but you can't use this excuse to burn the planet—

I had an argument w someone the other night and this tech bro told me that AI would replace me as a writer 🥲 (because the first you'd find online about me is writing and not what I've studied/am studying or my actual job so he didn't even bother learning about it)

LLMs are doubly deceptive. Most people think that they can ask it a question and get an answer. The majority of the rest think that you can ask an LLM a question and it will return what an answer might look like, statistically.

But it's actually even worse. It doesn't "read" the prompt; it guesses.

why am i not surprised that the people who think coding is "real" engineering also missed the point of the alchemist. we need to bring back shaming/compulsory arts/actual logic (not comp logic) education. htf are these morons the "future?"

I find it bleak that ChatGPT now has more users than Wikipedia. Many people would rather be spoon-fed information by a machine than read and research for themselves. Tech isn't just making us dumber. Worse than that: it's killing curiosity itself and the desire to learn.
