i say that this boils down to a classic trolley problem if killing a few will save the lives of countless more then im all for it however we cant let ourselves kill indiscriminately

Do you mean how we infected 100,000s of his friends and family with T.B.? or the living conditions that were worse than some of the nazi concentration camps? or how they were left without homes or jobs after? how they were illegally rounded up without due cause? what care are you talking about?
