#SwordoftheSea is an absolute blast. It really does feel as if they have combined aspects of all of their previous Giant Squid Games (Abzû, The Pathless) and I love every bit of it so far. Much love towards @giantsquidstudios.com and good lord @awintory.bsky.social came through AGAIN!

My #SteamNextFest thread. Now that I have played the demo's I want to play, I want to especially Highlight the Following greatest hits in no particular order: Death Howl, Rue valley, MotionRec, The Royal Writ and Consume Me. Most excited for their releases! Lmk about the gems you found!

Rue Valley: Very interesting detective/mystery CRPG (not like Disco Elysium, more like TRPG), don't want to say much but I didn't read the synopsis and I was hooked. It picks up quite slowly but it's very promising! Awesome art style and visuals, lovely presentation. #SteamNextFest #RueValley 13/?

Death Howl: OH BOY. Deckbuilding, Soulslike elements and tactical combat. Presentation is immaculate and the the first few minutes of gameplay were strong - intense. Deckbuilding is interesting but I feel like I haven't fully grasp it yet, but looking forward to do so. I want it.

MIO: Memories in Orbit. Metroidvania. Feels like Hollow Knight, coming from someone who never played Hollow Knight. I wasn't sure if I'd like it first, but the intruiging setting turne dme around. Depending on the length, I might buy it. #SteamNextFest 10/1

Everdeep Aurora: The graphics + presentation are really nice, but gameplay-wise the demo didnt help me understand what the game offers

Consume Me. It's not just fun and amazing in it's premise and execution. Games like this one are also just important. By gamifying the experience they can tackle the subject in a very approachable way and present it to audiences that otherwise wouldn't have interacted with the topic. #steamNextFest

FINALLLYYYYYYYY, got a full score in For Northwood! Man this game kept beating me, but it's such a good and clever game. Happy to finally get a full score, will take a look at the scenarios next!

Recently picked up 5-minute Dungeon, excited to get this to the table. It's been on my list for a while but an English version was long unavailable. From what I have seen online, this should be a blast with the folks I usually play with! #boardgames #blerdsky

An image of my Steam Replay summary of 2024. This year I have: played 21 games, earn 108 achievements, had 485 play sessions, and played 11 new games. The top 5 most played games ordered by percentage of playtime are: Marvel Snap (45%), Dave the Diver (11%), Hades 2 (10%), Divinity: Original Sin 2 (6%) and Spiritfarer (3%).

FINALLY got me a legendary score on a standard game of fliptown. Score is 81, Legendary Desperado. Badlands consistently got me VP's and going all in at the Hotel also helped a ton, aside from a few lucky poker hands. #boardgames #blerdsky

FINALLY beat Resist! Just barely achieved an Epic Victory, after God how many sessions. Just happy to have done it finally... This game is hard!
