On top of that, at the climax of the episode Naaza's surekill turns out to be a trick, which Ryo gets around by ditching his full armor to fight in his undergear, as it lets him move faster. And this is notable because earlier drafts of the show had the armors being the *secondary* combat form-

That being said going in once again and knowing what I do now, episode 4 stands out for how a lot of it feels like leftovers from earlier in development that never got fully fleshed out, namely Youja possession and the possessed armors that feel like they should've been recurring mooks.

The great thing about HD remasters is that you can see all the little details that you really weren't supposed to. Look at all these goobers, marching to their eternal torment.
