Wild places are amazing. Civilization kinda sucks, but I do like AC, flush toilets and a path thru the woods. Carver of small wood ornaments. Bad painter. Nonbeliever, religion seems destructive.
People were mostly in back & under trees for shade. Pretty good turnout.

Amazing color! We have a stick like that next to our deck just for the dragonflies to land on. They take off and keep coming back to it. So it's easy to take a photo.

If you have a water source nearby during dragonfly season, stick a tall bamboo stick in the ground. There will be dragon flies perched on it. Be patient, they fly off then, return.
