I have worked my ass off for the last 4 years to get into a PhD program. I finally had an interview, was told that if they have the funding, they’d like to take me. I am so scared that everything I’ve worked for will be for nothing. Still waiting to hear about the funding.

Similar situation here. I was waiting to hear back from a university about whether they’d have the funds to take me on even before this news dropped. Guess I’m not going to grad school after all.

Maryland drivers licenses are RealID compliant and self identify. If you have an MD license under your correct gender you are okay. If you don’t already have it, go to the MVA NOW. It’s really easy to get it changed-just ask them to change it at the MVA.

How would this affect higher education institutions? Looking to go to grad school this year and if the lab I’m trying to go to (a gender identity dev lab) gets shut down….i don’t know what I’ll be able to do.
