This run appears to be taking inspiration from the 2007 film with all the turtles being separated and the nightwatcher spinoff. While I am pleasantly surprised I’m also confused by the world building. Also seriously wondering if this is a reboot or not.

Howl has a lot of problems but it’s endearing to me. I relate a lot to Sophie, and there is a sort of wish fulfillment at play. Becoming an old woman and feeling free to act out on all your impulses. But then her outburst saying “I’ve never been beautiful in all my life!” Just hit home.

Cowards. Tho part of me is legit shocked anyone at Disney signed off on making this in the first place. I mean this is the same company that said no to making Ryan in HSM gay despite the I don’t dance number’s easily inferred subtext.
