But China won't be bullied, and will punch back, but it will be regular Americans who feel that gut punch, not Trump, who will simply lie, and spin, and blame others.

But we did those things to ourselves. Trump and Vance's words and behavior with Zelensky brought shame to our entire country--all of us.

Trump and his minions, and every person that participated in or has downplayed the events of January 6th, and every single person who voted for Trump in the last election, have done shameful things to our country.

And Zelensky, desperate to save his country, and with no assurances of future support, was being forced to sign them away, And then he was berated for not being thankful enough.

While Zelensky has thanked our country many times over, it is important to remember the context of his meeting with Trump on Friday: he was there because Trump wanted Ukraine's mineral rights as "payment" for past support.

I watched the video of small men Trump and Vance berate Zelensky, the democratically-elected president of a country being invaded by a dictator-led superpower, because he supposedly wasn't thankful enough.

And I am ashamed for our country having suddenly, and ingloriously, and embarrassingly, and even unexpectedly--even when I expect the worst from Trump--lost its right--our right--to claim to be the standard bearer for freedom, and against dictators and oppression.

Those who would take, or fail to protect, our rights must be exposed, opposed, and ousted.
Regardless of party, we must stand together.
Unless we act swiftly, we will we lose our rights.
Many lives were lost to gain and maintain our rights, and they must not be in vain.
