On the left, I used the 3D render as a visual reference/guideline to do my initial sketch.
On the right, the 3D render is set on my canvas so I can draw/sketch over it, borrowing the most important features of the render (proportions mostly) for a revised sketch.

This is part from a small exercise I wanted to do!
