I work with and for low income families. The state gives out tech and I’ve seen it save lives, including my own…
To restrict tech arbitrarily is insidious but influencers are venal, corporate, vile and stupid.
If I had my way influencers would be the first against the wall.

I loath tedium to the point of dreading it.
Games don’t get finished the moment the developer decided that it didn’t care or wanted to play a prank on little Joey at the expense of the decency, time and dignity of the consumer.
Never finish a back catalog. If a game sucks, it sucks.
