@oxygenartcentre.bsky.social is the only artist-run centre in the Kootenays and South-Eastern BC (next closest are in Kelowna & Kamloops, a 4-6 hours drive from here).

The contributions of the Chinese community to Nelson's construction aren't just significant, they *are* the foundation in many ways.
But they were thrown out of their businesses and homes when Nelson was chosen to be a government location (bringing "proper", puritanical people)...
