I think live firings that were done from the beach yesterday were only to impress Vance and others in the view stands on the base. Or, just to piss off our governor and all of us California citizens who were not in favor of this stupid performative bullshit.

Exactly! They do live fires all the time on various ranges on base that are well away from freeway and rail lines. We can hear concussions from live fires in South OC when they do them.

We were going to go to that protest today in Dana Point but thought traffic might be bad on PCH due to the closure of I-5 for tRump's rocket launch onto Pendleton. Instead, we went to the one in Aliso Viejo. 3,500 to 4,000 people there today - biggest crowd I've ever seen at a protest in AV!
