Friday night’s Gundam TCG booster event was my first TCG event since playing Pokemon as a kid. I was nervous, but everyone was super kind and helpful.
I had so much fun I came back for a second event yesterday. I placed 5/32 and 4/20, respectively!
Can’t wait to keep playing! 😁

Friday night’s Gundam TCG booster event was my first TCG event since playing Pokemon as a kid. I was nervous, but everyone was super kind and helpful.

Finally mastered the original Star Fox!
Its N64 counterpart has long been one of my favorite games of all time, but I’ve never given this one the love it deserves. It’s comparatively primitive and wonky, but it’s still a fun and worthy challenge. Great set!

My foray into Pokemon spinoffs continues with the TCG adaption for GBC.
I was OBSESSED with the TCG. I was even in the league (which amounted to getting a stamp book filled at Borders when you beat their cafe’s barista - er, *Gym Leader*).
I miss it, and this game scratches that itch perfectly.

Having just replayed Mega Man X5 for the first time in a while, I gotta say:
Holy shit, this game is WAY worse than I remembered.
I gave it the “X pass” for most of my life because I love this series, but it’s SO god damn slow, obtrusive, and frustrating. What a bummer follow-up to X4.
