Have you looked at Pinecil instead? It's capable of 100 watt easily with cheap tips and a price which is in the one course meal price range.

Breeze on latest plasma looks fine, modern enough. I have a steam deck and I think it comes with breeze by default too.

Otherwise I think it's fun to test new tiling WM's with keyboard only control, like herbsluftwm or i3.

But I'd work in Gnome/KDE/XFCE any day.
