How, exactly, is this a savings? They pay billions in taxes and, if there are millions of them who are "illegal" as he claims, and he is paying each of them $1k, that's an enormous loss of money in our treasury. He's not draining the swamp, he's draining our treasury.

He should be tried at The Hague for crimes against humanity.

Sadly, there was nothing she could have done, other than turning into a racist white male to win. She had a very fast lead up to the election, was up against the world's greatest wealth backing Trump, not to mention Russian interference. Even at that, she had a respectable showing. It's so sad.

I don't think Iran cared the least about Trump until he was re-elected. As for his other attempts, we've yet to hear anything much about either case. The first case went quiet quickly as to motive, etc. It went away as quickly as Trump's ear injury, ironically.

Democrats better spend time figuring out how to win back all of Congress in 2026 because they aren't going to get anything done or paid attention to for the next two years. Trump was given carte blanche to seek and destroy everything he can. It's utterly horrific.

Elon won't care because he long moved his focus away from Tesla. That was just his way to get power because the environmental movement was gaining momentum right when he was jumping on board. He used his customers to gain money and then showed his true colors (not green). Total Bond villain.

Isn't being accused (if not convicted) of sexual assault, at this point, a requirement to be in Trump's cabinet?

Of course he isn't concerned. He's a man. If he has a teenage daughter, I'll bet she is concerned.

Nancy has needed to go for a long time. I'm an independent voter, but she has been problematic for the party on a variety of levels for a very long time.

He knows she's not going to last, so he doesn't care. It will be the usual revolving door in his administration.

It's beyond "scrutiny." It's abject horror over him assembling the League of Villains.

Upton Sinclair, Sinclair Lewis, Kurt Vonnegut, Maya Angelou, Judy Blume, John Steinbeck, TC Boyle, etc. If they aren't all on the banned list, they soon will be when they roll that out nationally (and I assume they will, given the extremists already tapped for key posts).

That is cool. Makes much more sense too.

Okay, was listening to an interview with Dr. James Doty today on YT and he was describing exactly this some concept as how we manifest. Interesting to see your post right after listening to that.

It would all be so hilariously funny if it was a play instead of reality.

I hate to say it, but we also need to be aware that they can ban/delete digital versions of books with ease if they want to and I wouldn't put it past them given what we've seen in Florida. Have a print copy of any books they might go after. At least that's my recommendation.

Congratulations!

I hope the mortician has stocked up on orange makeup.

Growing in a highly polluted city in a family with little means, libraries gave me endless opportunities to learn about life's possibilities, expand my creativity, and explore the world beyond my neighborhood until I found a way to fulfill my life's dreams. Libraries and librarians ROCK!

It's inconceivable that a full background check is required to work a cash register at a retail store, but we can bury a DOJ investigation into someone who wants to be hired to head the DOJ.

Truth! In my old neighborhood, there were hundreds of them. Literally HUNDREDS. They ruled the whole neighborhood. I used to come home and find all my flowers torn to shreds. They resented that I put a container garden where they used to gather and hold court on the lawn.

What a regal pooch!

Can relate, only it's been 5.5 for me.

That is utterly gorgeous. Looks like paradise.

I got kicked off X pre-Musk for a comment about Ted Cruz that should not have gotten me banned, but Cruz's following was out for blood because I kept batting down their lies. Happy there is now a good alternative. I don't get why everyone on the left or even center didn't quit X when he bought it.
