The foodbank where I volunteer makes up “kettle bags” for people living in temporary accommodation in hotels.
It’s mainly stuff like instant porage, cup soups, sandwiches, pot noodles, tinned cold meat, fruit, etc.
Far from ideal, but a necessity.
