I'm a library manager, have been since 2006, no customer has ever assumed i wasn't a librarian and since the 100th person called me one in, say, 2008, I've not tried to explain the difference. These days my role includes 50% librarian tasks, good luck, it's valuable, fun and makes a +contribution.

If the labour party want to get votes from non Labour voters, they'll probably fail as pro brexit/anti immigration fans will never support them, if they want to get votes from traditional Labour voters (like me) they're pushing us away further with every passing day.

Not sure naming a new party after the one in the UK that Nigel Farage runs as a company and claims Trump as a personal friend would be the pivot politically that you think it would

As long as it's not accompanied by a low hum followed by a siren, should be fine

Yep, I'm just trying to avoid inflaming where nuanced grown up conversation can replace polarised arguments, it's what I used to try on X and sometimes had some great chats with people I profoundly disagree with on gun control, what socialism is and climate science

This is the Hamas flag, the Palestinian flag would be showing solidarity and support for a suffering population rather than the Hamas military leadership if it was the one being used.
