Here’s where the fish are living while their pond is being refurbished. On Saturday night, a piece of pine straw clogged the pump and we had a late night emergency trying to aerate the water before they all died of hypoxia. The trashcan filter seems to have fixed the problem.

Spent a good chunk of the weekend working on my SIL’s koi pond. We’re trying to prime and seal it and get the fish back in before the freeze hits tonight. It’s about 30 years old and was leaking like a sieve, but now has a new coat of epoxy! #diy
