If I were to guess they will be tariffed to some extent for a while. But they will quietly fade out over time. But if people are paying the higher prices then companies have no incentive to lower them

Hard to say. The President says yes, but it's a constant back and forth. A court said he cant do tariffs unilaterally but its an ongoing case still; and he has a tendency to ignore courts anyway
