This also goes for: cars, kitchen appliances, fridges and power tools. No I don’t think any of those are “easier to use” with touch screens. I think they are significantly easier to break and way harder to use correctly, the way I want.

When someone is 80, there is a high chance of mental and physical decline or even death. Candidates are being elected for a term of multiple years. I think it is unreasonable not to consider this when deciding who can or cannot run. Because politicians are not leaving on their own when it gets bad.

You are in your sixties, fine whatever, no problem with that. But when you are over eighty go enjoy retirement. If mentally declining at any age, I don’t want you in congress. If you were 32 with early onset dementia, I don’t want you in there either.

I'm entering my third act at a relatively spry 66 years old so I'm hyper aware of the ageist tendencies of many on social media. But, c'mon, these fuckin' people.
