On a @smittenkitchen.bsky.social roll- making the leek fritters. I think I didn’t squeeze out enough liquid and they didn’t stay together in the frying pan. Trying the oven now but I totally invented a temperature (350) and a time (10 min each side). So we shall see.

On a #smittenkitchen kick lately! Made the sweet potato blintzes. Everyone loved them (luckily I convinced co-chef to blitz the filling- smooth was the way to go).

This is why I LOVE what I do. I’m listening to a song composed by a sixth grader and it’s giving me goosebumps it’s so beautiful. Arts education is NECESSARY.

@smittenkitchen.bsky.social So I decided to make the Heart-Stuffed Shells in Lemon Ricotta Bechamel because I’ve never had a bad recipe from that book. There is apparently only one store in all of southern CT who sell frozen artichoke hearts- so I’m off to Westport but these better be good!!
