Very good article, but it could do with a correction; when the powers that be decided they'd *finally* air the Kneecap performance, the "fuck Kier Starmer" chants were absolutely not edited out. Not defending the BBC, but the truth is so important right now. Other than that, totally on point!

British politics just seems to consist of a race to the bottom these days; all outdoing themselves to see who can be nastiest to marginalised communities. It's disgusting.

Any talk of 'hope' is a bit of a worry to say the least; It'd really be a shame if they do a bad job of it. I think we could do with something up-to-date which is as impactful as Threads. It might just jolt a few people back into giving a shit

It's not just OK, it's absolutely necessary. Enjoy your evening! 😊

I've yet to see a shred of evidence that Musk is autistic. A sociopath, yes. Autistic? Highly doubtful

In all honesty, I'd probably have voted for the 'lesser' of two evils and regretted it. My vote here just helped pave the road towards the far-right in the UK, and I wouldn't do it again. Voting in a neolib Western democracy is like having to choose between eating dog shit or cat shit atm

Revolution! 😉
The lesser of two evils won the last UK general election and now their strategy appears to largely be based on appeasing the far right... things are going exactly as you would expect

So people could either choose to vote for genocide but let's pretend it isn't, or blatant genocide? Jeez, what a choice!

How Farage being a charlatan comes as a surprise to anyone absolutely baffles me 🙄

It's not used as a misogynistic slur here in the UK. In fact, the further north you go, the more it becomes a term of endearment 😆
