Game 2: Legends ZA: DLC (credits)
The concept is super fun. But the gameplay loop gets pretty grindy pretty quickly. Collecting berries for donuts and points to progress the story gets repetitive very quickly, and since later, stuff requires rare berries, it gets old fast. 7/10. New megas are cool.

Game 1: Plucky Squire.
Overall, the presentation is incredible. The book is beautiful, and music and voice acting are stellar. The gameplay is a little simple, however. Puzzles never feel as deep as they could have been, despite some nifty ideas, and the combat has no depth outside mini games. 7/10.

Game 19: Is this seat taken?
Short and sweet puzzle game. Each new area adds just enough twists to make it engaging the whole way through. Easy recommendation for someone looking for something to play before bed. The presentation is also very charming. 8/10.

Game 18: Hades 2
If you loved Hades 1, this is simply a must play. Adding a more focused story as opposed to a character driven one does make me miss the interactions between some members of Hades, but the new ganeplay style and customization options more then make up or it. My current goty. 10/10.

Game 17: Dragon Quest 1 Remake.
Square finally weaving these 3 games into a fluent trilogy will always delight me. Not every mechanic was fleshed out (like sigils), but adding a story and making combat more involved makes DQ1 feel like a fleshed out game as opposed to a NES relic. 9/10.

Game 16: Pokemon Legends: ZA
Another enjoyable pokemon game. Active battle system felt fresh, and the new megas are the perfect mixture of silly + cool. It's hard to recommend this over Legends Arceus if you never played either, but if you're a fan of Kalos, then it's a must play. 8/10.

Game 15: Final Fantasy Tactics:Ivalice Chronicles. A great way to experience a very fun TRPG. Tactcian wasn't the challenge I was hoping for. The VA and QoL features help bring an already great game even higher. Not having the WotL content is a bummer, but still no reason to pass on it. 9/10.

Game 14: Silksong (Act 2 credits)
Another great game by team cherry. I don't know if I have the patience to beat the Act 3 bosses, but Act 1 & 2 were a lot of fun. Challenging but fair bosses, rewarding exploration, lots of customization. A great sequel and another excellent metroidvania. 8/10.

Game 13: FF6 Pixel Remaster.
It's hard to believe this came out on SNES. There are a lot of aspects that feel ahead of its time. The huge, unique cast, learning magic through espers, the openess in World of Ruin. All come together to make a memorable FF game. 8/10. Kefka is one of the franchise best

Game 12: DK Bananza
A great follow-up to Mario Odyessy. Must play if you own a switch 2. 10/10. My goty so far.

Game 11: Pipistrello & the cursed Yo-yo.
A fun Zelda like that uses yo-yo mechanics and techniques in unique ways. Never overstays its welcome. The badge & upgrade systems give exploring and combat an extra level of importance. A solid top-down action game that can scratch the lttp itch. 8/10.

Game 10: Door 2016.
Well, I've realized Boomer shooters are no longer up my alley. The game still goes hard. Fast-paced gunfights, fun weapons and power-ups, and graphic glory kills. For a game that's always on sale and less than 15 hours, it's easily worth playing still today. 9/10.

Game 9: Lunar: Silver Star Story Remastered.
Scratched an itch I've had for a while. Simple JRPG that never overstays its welcome, fun characters & banter, and humor that still works surprisingly well today. 9/10. It was a fun change of pace from the ovet complication of some modern RPGs.

Game 8: Firered Nuzlocke.
My first completed nuzlocke, I've started tons but never got to the finish line. Used PizzaBoy lite on my phone with rare candies. Jolteon was the MVP. 10/10 highly recommend at least attempting a nuzlocke.

Game 7: Yu-Gi-Oh: Dark Duel Stories. For its time, it's a decent game that has a steep difficulty curve if you don't use passwords or don't just have very good luck. I recommend it for a fan of the card game looking for an old school experience, otherwise there's better YGO games to play. 6/10

Game 6: Donkey Kong 94 (NSO)
The best platformer on the GB and an underrated mario game. Even without save states and rewind, levels are short, and it saves every 4 levels. Every new world adds or switches some mechanics, and Mario's movement is super enjoyable. A must play GB game. 10/10.

You can almost feel that "Map change" in ZA when going to certain areas. In the initial map, when you finally crossed that wooden bridge over the river, it almost felt like entering a new map.

Game 5: Wario Land 4 (NSO)
Another GBA game that has aged like fine wine. Smooth platforming, incredible graphics, short but with good replayability. It is a great addition to an incredible series. Plus, one of the coolest start screens of all time. 9/10.
