Xenoblade 3 is so good because you aren't just fighting "a bad guy doing bad things". The *world* is the villain. The end goal is to destroy the world. The "world" is the system in which they are forced to live under. They must dismantle the system. And they're privileged to have the power to do so.
Manana positing "World is supervillainpon" Noah saying "We're obliged to use it. We can make a difference". This is in contrast to those like Joran and Shania who were victims of the system and didn't have the power that Ouroboros have to change it. Noah is recognizing that because they are in the position they are in, they have to fight to free everyone.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 in a nutshell:

> Identify that the folks you've been told are your enemies are just as oppressed as you

> Identify that the system is fundamentally broken

> Identify the capitalist/fascist metaphor running the thing

> Overcome fear of an uncertain future to dismantle it
Noah saying "Just who decided that this was how it should be?" after exclaiming that they aren't living to fight, they're fighting to live. Noah saying "If the world holds our lives back, I will end it!". This links back to an earlier scene in Chapter 4 where the idea is put forth that the world itself a "Supervillainpon" Z saying "It's because it amuses me!". This nonsense reason is emblematic of capitalists. If you think of the people in power today, you find little logic in their actions. They want power and money for their own sake, not to achieve anything. And Moebius have no greater goal than to simply exist, to keep their hold on their power and to keep the status quo of the world so it stays that way. Z, using Noah's visage, saying "This world must remain in the endless now!". One aspect that Moebius represents is fear of the future and uncertainty. And destroying that fear is absolutely necessary to dismantling the systems that form the society you've lived in your whole life. They are intertwined and so killing Moebius is killing both of these things they represent (the fear+uncertainty, and capitalism+fascism)
