Tonight I'm starting Dragon Quest VI for the FIRST TIME, at 7pm Central, 5pm Pacific! We'll be playing the Super Famicom version with a Fan Translation patch, on a Super Nintendo!

For the last 10 days or so, I've been throwing myself into this @nerdforge.bsky.social-inspired project -- my medieval fantasy JRPG fireplace with a raised hearth. I'm 95% finished with it, but this blizzard has the rest on hold for now.

Little update on that medieval fantasy fireplace project -- Styrofoam boards applied, cut, and made the fireplace arch and textured it up a bit. :)

My fireplace project is (very) slowly starting to come together, I've made the initial scaffold for the elevated hearth! :)

Medieval plaster paint job complete! Still have some cleanup around the trim to sort out. Got just a few more things to sort out before the new fireplace and stone window arches build begins.
There was a red wall on the left, and game shelf on the right wall covering the window. So much light! :D

#TriangleStrategy is the first RPG of its kind in VR, and it has blown my mind! I didn't know what to expect from a #VirtualReality turn-based pixel-art Strategy #RPG, but what I found is, I think, a new way forward for Pixel Art RPGs into Virtual and #AugmentedReality! 🤯
