1968: "The Year of the Pitcher".
Denny McLain won 31 games.
Luis Tiant posted a 1.60 ERA. (Bob Gibson led the NL with a 1.12.)
Carl Yastrzemski won the AL batting title with a .301 avg.
The next year, the mound was lowered from 15" to 10", and the strike zone was shrunk back to pre-Maris size.

I remember reading an interview with Greg Morris at the height of Mission Impossible's popularity, in which he confessed that in real life, he could barely change a light bulb.

Thanks for the heads-up, Professor (although I do record that show every night, anyway).

I miss you when you are on the morning show, however.

I stopped recording/watching that one when Boris and Natasha sold out, and went to Mildew Lago to kiss the diapered ass in exchange for "access".

Kenny has one thing in common with Trump.

They were both handed their careers on a silver platter by their dads.

I started reading Silk Roads by Peter Frankopan literally around the same time the air strikes on Iran were commencing.

Impeccable timing.

My late mother always gave props to the "character actors".

Whereas the stars would make a movie every couple of years, these guys and gals were always working, popping up everywhere.

"Hey, there's whatsisname!"

My wife won't watch a movie with me for the same reason.

Watching TRMS on Thursday, this occurred to me:
If "wasteful spending" is their cover for dismantling the govt., how much is being wasted in forcing DOJ to bring multiple blocking lawsuits against this lawless administration, with the taxpayers having to pay the attorneys for *both* sides?
