Precisely. And the ability to triage grants based solely on political views, out of the public eye. NIH has a history of piloting new procedures. I hope they do this before this centralized review process is institutionalized.

I've been saying the same thing. Just horrible.

Makes me want to buy a tractor.

It's a hopeful sign, but no advisory councils rescheduled yet, and without those, outstanding scores mean nothing as grants will hang in limbo.
